Workplace Giving

  • Mountainland Head Start, Inc. offers giving and volunteer opportunities to companies looking to make a difference in their communities. Mountainland Head Start, Inc. serves 817 low-income and high-risk children in Wasatch, Utah, and Nebo counties to help children overcome the barriers of living in poverty.

Your donation and volunteer hours benefit our communities by:

    • improving children's socio-emotional development,
    • developing positive changes in children's personal lives, behaviors, and attitudes,
    • increasing motivation for children to learn, and
    • giving children a chance to participate in a quality early childhood program

Many companies offer workplace giving programs in which employees can make regular donations through United Way of Utah County. Mountainland Head Start, Inc. is a United Way of Utah County agency and employees can make direct payroll contributions through United Way.

Community volunteer opportunities provide companies with a way to promote teamwork and make a difference in their communities. Employees who volunteer with Head Start learn skills of listening, creativity, and confidence that can be transferred to the workplace.

We would be happy to visit with you or your company to develop donation and volunteer partnerships to improve the lives of children in Utah. Please contact our Central Office at (801) 375-7981 for more information.
